We are currently looking for a seasoned professional to join our team as an AVP of Data Privacy and Business Information Security. As a leading multinational corporation operating at the intersection of technology and financial services, we prioritize the protection of our global assets and the integrity of our digital infrastructure. We need a leader who can navigate complex regulatory landscapes while fostering a culture of security and risk awareness across our business units.

About the Role

This is a full-time, senior-level position based on-site. In this role, you will serve as a critical point of contact for high-level privacy and security matters. You will be responsible for overseeing our privacy programs, ensuring we remain compliant with global regulations, and driving our strategic approach to risk mitigation and incident response.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate our core business processes and assets to identify potential risks, while implementing effective control strategies to mitigate those threats.
• Manage our compliance efforts regarding ISO 27001, GDPR, and other relevant international privacy laws to ensure our operations meet global standards.
• Lead our response to data breaches and security incidents, while providing expert guidance during technology-related due diligence and security audits.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, you should bring a strong background in information security and a deep understanding of technical controls. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, such as a B.E., B.Tech., or MCA.
• Relevant professional certifications, including CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or CISM.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing information security programs, particularly within the financial or government sectors.
• Expert knowledge of security best practices, including ISO 27001 and PCI DSS.
• A proven track record of 8 to 12 years in the field.

Location

This role is based in Mumbai, India, and requires an on-site presence.
