Role at a glance
We are searching for an Avionics Systems Integration Lead to guide the development, integration, and testing of high-integrity systems that support human-life functions in Urban Air Mobility operations. This is a full-time, remote position requiring a seasoned lead-level professional with deep experience in safety-critical aerospace environments.
Your impact
- Lead the design of safety-critical systems to enable flight monitoring and traffic surveillance, ensuring all work aligns with industry standards.
- Direct the decomposition and tracking of requirements from the initial design phase through to final verification and validation.
- Oversee the functional and physical architecture of our systems, including the identification of interfaces and the integration of data service providers.
What you'll need
- A Bachelor's degree in Systems, Software, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- At least 10 years of experience in a highly technical, safety-critical aerospace environment.
- A minimum of 5 years in a technical leadership role overseeing the design, implementation, and qualification of complex avionic systems.
- Proven expertise in certified aerospace programs, covering the full systems engineering lifecycle from ConOps to certification.
- Strong familiarity with ARP 4754A, ARP 4761, and DO178C/DO278A standards.
- Proficiency in systems engineering principles and tools like Polarion, along with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a cross-functional, collaborative team.
