Key outcomes
- Manage the complete setup and breakdown of audio and visual equipment for hockey games, concerts, and various venue events.
- Operate and maintain sound systems for meetings, press conferences, and live performances.
- Handle wireless microphone systems, including both handheld and lavalier units.
- Oversee the operation of hockey scoring systems, OES controllers, goal lights, and basketball shot clocks.
- Configure IMAG setups, projectors, and screens while interfacing with internal teams and external clients.
- Support gameday camera operations, ClearCom intercom systems, and arena-wide display signage.
- Provide technical assistance to partners such as the NHL, ESPN, and Bally’s, as well as our internal game presentation and sponsorship teams.
- Guide and train part-time staff members to ensure high-quality event execution.
- Maintain the flexibility to work across our various properties as required.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of audio signal flow within professional sound systems.
- Proficiency in cable management, equipment organization, and labeling.
- Practical experience with construction tools, drills, mounting hardware, and cable assembly.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and ladders for installation projects.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly in writing.
- Capability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and event setup instructions.
- Fluency in English.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Dante, Crestron, or Q-SYS systems.
- Two years of experience in the telecommunications field.
- A high school diploma or GED.
