About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Autonomy Software Test Engineer to join us in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for the rigorous testing of our FoxBot product, with a heavy emphasis on our autonomy systems. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our technology from your very first day.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with our autonomy team to verify system performance against established benchmarks and product requirements.
- Develop, design, and execute comprehensive test suites in both real-world and simulated environments.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and analyze logs to identify root causes of performance issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement permanent solutions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in testing complex systems and a passion for robotics. We require the following qualifications:
- A BS or MS degree in robotics, computer science, engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Experience working within Linux environments and using git.
- Practical knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- A history of taking personal ownership over complex problem-solving tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to travel to customer sites to resolve technical challenges.
Location
This position is based in the United States and requires an on-site presence.
