Mishimoto, the flagship brand of Resource Intl., is the global leader in performance cooling products. Since our founding in 2005, we have dedicated ourselves to engineering superior upgrades for a wide range of vehicles, including sport compacts, trucks, Jeeps, and classic cars. We operate from a state of the art headquarters in Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, which features a massive warehouse and a specialized engineering studio. With additional offices in Nevada, the United Kingdom, and China, we maintain a robust global infrastructure to support our customers. We are currently looking for a junior Automotive Project Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis to help bring our next generation of products to market.
Key outcomes
- Create and manage comprehensive project roadmaps to ensure every product launch stays on schedule and within budget.
- Lead the full product lifecycle by coordinating efforts across R&D, testing, marketing, production, and logistics teams.
- Manage relationships with domestic and international suppliers to maintain high quality standards and timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate project databases, accounting records, and digital tracking tools.
- Deliver consistent weekly status updates to the product team to ensure transparency and proactive problem solving.
- Utilize networking skills to secure appropriate test vehicles for product development.
- Provide regular progress reports to management to ensure project alignment with company goals.
Requirements
- One to two years of experience in project management or a related field.
- One to two years of experience working within an engineering, manufacturing, or automotive environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with industrial design principles and materials like T6-6061 aluminum.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interacting with stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers.
- Superior organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in both office and garage environments.
- A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline is preferred.
- A basic understanding of automotive cooling systems and performance parts is preferred.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Previous experience managing international projects.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 USD. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
