We are currently seeking a Senior Automation Test/QA Lead for a long-term, remote freelance contract. Responsibilities
- Lead a team of automation testers and QA engineers by providing mentorship, guidance on best practices, and oversight of quality standards.
- Design and implement robust, maintainable automated test frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools to ensure comprehensive software coverage.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and development, to integrate automated testing seamlessly into the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance, specifically focusing on test automation.
- Strong technical proficiency in designing automated frameworks using tools like Selenium.
- Experience managing defects and test cases using tools such as Jira.
- A solid understanding of SQL for database validation and experience working within Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to solve complex technical problems in a cross-functional team setting.
