We are looking for a passionate engineer to join our test engineering team, where you will help us maintain the high standards of quality that define our products.
The opportunity
As a Senior Automation QA Engineer based in India, you will play a vital role in our engineering ecosystem. You will act as a champion for product quality by developing robust test frameworks and infrastructure. This role is deeply embedded within our delivery teams, meaning you will partner closely with software engineers to refine test plans and ensure our cloud-based solutions are elegant, reliable, and user-focused. You will be instrumental in enabling our teams to deliver software that truly moves the automotive industry forward.
A day in the life
- You will collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and automate comprehensive test plans that ensure our features meet the highest standards.
- You will take a hands-on approach to planning and executing tests, triaging issues, and driving them to resolution while keeping the wider team informed of our progress.
- You will manage and maintain our release cycles, supporting our CI pipelines and build monitors to ensure every deployment is both timely and stable.
Who you are
You are a technically skilled professional with a deep passion for quality and a user-first mindset. You thrive in agile environments and enjoy working alongside product managers and developers to solve complex problems.
Our ideal candidate brings the following:
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Three to seven years of professional experience in an engineering or testing role.
- Strong programming proficiency in Java or Python.
- Proven experience in automated testing for both web and mobile applications.
- Practical knowledge of testing microservices within AWS environments.
- Hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks like Selenium, XCUITest, or Appium.
- Experience automating API tests using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or Karate.
