About the Role
This is a full-time position for an Automation QA Engineer. You will report directly to our QA Lead and collaborate across departments, including Engineering and Customer Success, to develop and automate test scenarios. This role is perfect for someone with at least one year of experience who is eager to contribute to a business-critical function within a rapidly expanding company.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize comprehensive UI and API automation test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Integrate your automated test execution suites into CI/CD pipelines to manage regression and scheduled testing cycles.
- Partner with our product and engineering teams during planning sessions to define acceptance criteria and translate them into effective test coverage.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in QA automation using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript.
- A solid foundation in core development concepts, including asynchronous programming and structured error handling.
- Practical experience using modern AI coding tools like Claude, Cursor IDE, or ChatGPT to accelerate script generation and debugging.
- Proficiency with Git workflows, including managing pull requests and code reviews.
- Basic knowledge of SQL queries for data validation.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meticulously document defects using Jira.
Location
This position is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere.
