The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join us on a contract basis. You will report directly to our Director of Engineering, Data, and play a pivotal role in our development lifecycle. Your primary mission is to design, build, and maintain automated test scripts that keep our platform running smoothly. As we navigate a complex and evolving data landscape, your work will directly influence our ability to deliver high-quality solutions. A day in the life

• You will design and maintain comprehensive automated test scripts to ensure our software meets rigorous quality standards.
• You will work alongside our development teams to define and implement testing strategies for new features.
• You will participate in code reviews and advocate for best practices to improve our overall automation framework.

Who you are

You are a seasoned professional who understands the nuances of building reliable, scalable test automation. You communicate clearly in English and enjoy collaborating within an agile environment. Your technical toolkit should include the following:

• At least 3 years of professional experience as an Automation QA Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python, which is our primary language for automation.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium.
• A solid grasp of version control using Git.
• Practical experience working with Azure cloud services.
• A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
