About the Role

We are seeking an Automation Engineering Manager to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will lead the charge in developing and executing testing strategies that ensure our video-on-demand service meets the highest quality standards. You will work closely with our QA, development, and product teams to drive automation initiatives, improve test coverage, and enhance overall efficiency across web, mobile, and OTT platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive automation testing strategy that aligns with our streaming architecture and business goals.
• Lead the creation and maintenance of cross-platform automation frameworks while optimizing test cases for API, UI, and performance.
• Manage and mentor the automation testing team by setting clear goals, allocating tasks, and fostering a collaborative, agile environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in software testing, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, and familiarity with mainstream automation frameworks like Selenium and Appium.
• A deep understanding of the architecture and lifecycle management of client and server applications.
• Excellent English communication skills, allowing you to bridge gaps between cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the resilience to handle complex project requirements.

Location

This position is based in China and requires an on-site presence.
