Full Time Senior Hybrid United States Software Engineering Engineering JavaScript Python Zapier AWS Lambda API Integration Scripting System Design Debugging English Hybrid work

GoodLeap is a technology company dedicated to making sustainable home improvements, such as solar panels and energy-efficient HVAC systems, more accessible and affordable for everyone. Since 2018, our platform has facilitated over $30 billion in financing, helping more than 1 million homeowners transition to sustainable living. We also take great pride in our partnership with the nonprofit GivePower, which provides clean water and electricity to over 1.6 million people globally. We are currently seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity to help us build and maintain intelligent workflows that streamline our internal operations.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain complex automation workflows using tools like Zapier, N8N, Atlassian JSM, and AWS Lambda to enhance operational efficiency.
Integrate AI-powered features into our existing systems to intelligently prioritize and route tasks across the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and operations, to identify repetitive processes and implement scalable, reliable solutions.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional experience in software engineering or technical automation.
Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python.
Hands-on experience with automation platforms like Zapier or N8N and cloud services, specifically AWS.
A solid understanding of system design, API integration, and debugging complex workflows.
Effective communication skills with a focus on collaborative problem-solving.

What we offer

We are pleased to offer a flexible hybrid work environment that supports a healthy work-life balance for our team members. We value professionals who are passionate about innovation and want to contribute to a company that is making a tangible impact on both the environment and global communities.
