What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join us on a full-time, on-site basis in the Netherlands. Please note that we are currently unable to provide relocation sponsorships, so we can only consider candidates who are already living and working in the country. You will be a key member of a multi-disciplinary, self-steering team that takes full ownership of customer environments, handling everything from private clouds and networking to security and technical application management.

What will you do?

• Take full responsibility for the plan, build, and run phases of complex, business-critical customer systems.
• Drive efficiency by implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and general scripting with PowerShell or Python.
• Ensure the availability and security of diverse platforms while actively shaping the long-term engagement strategy with our customers.

What makes you a great fit?

We are looking for a seasoned T-shaped engineer who has a deep understanding of the Windows ecosystem and has seen firsthand how software can transform infrastructure. You should be comfortable working in English and possess a strong security mindset. We value the following skills and experience:

• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform, git, and pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of Linux and Virtualization, including VMware, vSphere, vCenter, and NSX.
• Practical experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or PowerShell DSC.
• Bonus points if you have a background in Windows hardening, high availability clustering, or containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
