What you bring

We are looking for a Senior Automation Developer to join our Information Technology team on a Full Time, on-site basis in Colombia. In this role you will lead the hands-on identification, design, development, testing, delivery, maintenance, and support of automation solutions that improve how we work. You will draw on deep expertise in .NET, Angular, Python, SQL, Blazor, API Development, Microservices, Azure Cloud, Visual Studio, and Docker to select the right technology for each challenge.

• Leverage emerging and existing technology capabilities to improve and automate business processes while finding the right solution for each targeted workflow.
• Analyze, interpret, and refine business processes, applying agile practices to design and deliver impactful automation solutions.
• Continuously monitor implemented solutions for optimal performance, debug issues quickly, and identify opportunities for ongoing improvement.

Requirements

You bring a hyper-curious mindset and a continuous-learning approach, adapting quickly to new tools and ideas. You are comfortable working both independently and within cross-functional teams, building strong internal and external relationships through clear communication and interpersonal skill. You enjoy coaching colleagues, facilitating technical and non-technical discussions, and juggling multiple projects while meeting deadlines. You understand Agile methodology, the Scrum Framework, and the full Software Development Lifecycle, and you have applied these practices to end-to-end automation projects. You possess in-depth expertise developing and deploying solutions with .NET, Angular, Python, SQL, Blazor, and HTML, and you are highly proficient with Azure Cloud, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Azure Data Studio, MS SQL Server, Docker, Postman, and Swagger. You have solid experience in web and application development (front-end and back-end), REST API development and integration, microservice architecture, secure authentication protocols such as Okta, JWT, OAuth, SAML, and MFA, as well as application logging, unit testing, and monitoring with tools like MSTest, Azure Application Insights, and Serilog. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a similar field is preferred, and prior exposure to AI, GenAI, ML, NLP, OCR, or automation platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Pega, WorkFusion, Microsoft Power Platform, Selenium, or Playwright is a plus. Experience in the accounting-technology industry is also valued.
