We are looking for a skilled Audio Visual Programmer to join our team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be a vital part of our mission to provide secure and high-performance audiovisual systems for government operations. You will work within both classified and unclassified environments, ensuring that our technology solutions integrate perfectly with complex IT and communications infrastructure. Because of the nature of our contracts, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen.
What you'll be doing
- You will develop, program, and maintain control systems for various audiovisual environments using industry-standard platforms like Crestron, AMX, or Extron.
- You will design user interfaces and create automation logic that makes our systems intuitive and efficient for end users.
- You will lead system testing, validation, and troubleshooting efforts to guarantee that all installations meet our strict operational and security standards.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical background and a commitment to excellence. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- You must be a U.S. citizen with at least three years of professional experience in A/V programming and system integration.
- You hold a Certificate of Completion of Intermediate System Programming (CTI-P201) and an Extron Control Professional certification.
- You possess an AVIXA CTS certification.
- You have demonstrated proficiency in programming languages and tools such as Crestron SIMPL, AMX NetLinx, or Extron Global Scripter.
- You have hands-on experience with DSP configuration, AV-over-IP, and unified communications.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in a technical field like Electronics or Computer Engineering, though we are happy to consider candidates with equivalent experience and certifications in lieu of a degree.
- It is a plus if you have five or more years of experience, hold a Crestron Certified Programmer or Extron Authorized Programmer status, or possess an AVIXA CTS-D or CTS-I certification.
- You are fluent in English.
