What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Atlassian Administrator to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This role is essential for maintaining and optimizing our Atlassian cloud application suite. You will report directly to the Manager of Atlassian Systems and will play a key part in driving process improvements and technical efficiencies across our organization. Please note that this position requires working a US shift schedule, starting from 6 or 7 PM IST.

What will you do?

• Translate complex business requirements into effective Jira Service Management (JSM) solutions, including the implementation, testing, and ongoing maintenance of these workflows.
• Develop and maintain automations across our Atlassian stack, including Jira Software and Confluence, while managing configurations, custom fields, and dashboards.
• Provide expert-level end user support and deploy plugins to extend the capabilities of our JSM environment to better serve our internal teams.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical background and a passion for customer service. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 10 years of total work experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically as a Jira Administrator.
• Advanced proficiency in Jira Service Management, including the ability to build workflows, permission schemes, and customer portal forms.
• A solid understanding of Java, familiarity with databases, and competence in SQL.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with a preference for those who have experience with Scriptrunner.
• A growth mindset, the ability to adapt quickly, and a talent for self-organization in a fast-paced environment.
