We are looking for a talented Associate Visual Designer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. At Tekmetric, we provide a cloud-based management system for auto-repair shops, focusing on a modern, transparent approach to customer care. Since our founding in Houston in 2015, we have prioritized innovation and a service-first mindset. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a creative individual to help us elevate our brand and improve our communication materials while working alongside our Lead Designer and marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Produce a wide range of marketing assets, such as social media graphics, email templates, brochures, and presentation decks.
- Work closely with the Lead Designer and the broader marketing team to conceptualize and execute campaigns that align with our core brand strategy.
- Maintain and update our existing library of assets by resizing and reformatting graphics to ensure they are optimized for various digital and print channels.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong portfolio that demonstrates your expertise in typography, color theory, and layout principles. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- A degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field, combined with 1 to 2 years of professional design experience.
- Technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, along with familiarity with tools like Canva or Cap Cut.
- A meticulous eye for detail, ensuring that every design element meets our high standards for quality and brand consistency.
- Excellent time management skills, allowing you to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to clearly communicate your design choices to cross-functional partners.
