FanCode is India’s premier sports destination committed to giving fans a highly personalised experience across content and merchandise for a wide variety of sports. Founded by sports industry veterans Yannick Colaco and Prasana Krishnan in March 2019, FanCode has over 100 million users. It has partnered with domestic, international sports leagues and associations across multiple sports.

In content, FanCode offers interactive live streaming for sports with industry-first subscription formats like Match, Bundle and Tour Passes, along with monthly and annual subscriptions at affordable prices.

Through FanCode Shop, it also offers fans a wide range of sports merchandise for sporting teams, brands and leagues across the world.

Are you an experienced and passionate product designer with a love for sports and a talent for crafting exceptional mobile experiences?

At FanCode, we’re on a mission to redefine how fans connect with live sports through our innovative digital app, and we’re looking for someone like you to lead the charge. With at least 10+ years of product design experience, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and inspire a talented team of designers, driving the entire design process from concept to launch. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other key stakeholders to create user-centric mobile products that resonate with millions of sports fans. Your Role

Coach & mentor a team of designers, fostering collaboration, providing guidance, and supporting professional growth.

Oversee the entire design cycle from problem identification to launch, ensuring a user-focused approach.

Develop and execute quarterly design strategies aligned with business goals and user needs, breaking solutions into actionable agile iterations.

Analyse various metrics to derive insights & maintain a strategic balance between long-term vision and immediate actions.

Be hands-on in working with various teams to design concepts & solutions in line with the product vision.

Work closely with product & tech leads to define goals, and design requirements and ensure alignment. You must be adaptable and deal with some degree of ambiguity & change.

Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our products.

Optimise design operations and continuously refine processes for greater efficiency and impact.

Must-Have

Over 10+ years in hands-on high-fidelity product design with a portfolio showcasing proven success in delivering impactful, measurable product outcomes.

Experienced in leading a team of designers, with strong mentoring skills and the ability to provide clear, constructive & actionable design feedback.

Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, with a portfolio showcasing their successful application in products.

Strong ability to measure design impact using research and data analysis.

Excellent at presenting and communicating design decisions, with a talent for influencing stakeholders.

Strong critical and creative problem-solving skills to address design challenges effectively.

Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and other relevant design software.

Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a positive attitude and openness to change.

Good-to-Have

Known certifications/qualifications in the field of design, HCI, engineering, or user research.

Experience in creating, implementing, and applying a design system across multiple platforms, ensuring consistent brand language throughout the company.

Experience with agile methodologies and working in an agile environment.

Knowledge of front-end development and the technical aspects of mobile design.

Experience working with global or distributed teams.
