The opportunity
We are looking for a senior-level front-end engineer to join our software engineering function in Sri Lanka. In this role, you will be a key player in crafting flawless user interfaces that make our platform intuitive and powerful. You will work closely with our design team to bring creative visions to life, ensuring that our software remains the top choice for medium-to-large product businesses worldwide. A day in the life
- You will use jQuery, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to build dynamic, responsive web interfaces and interactive features.
- You will collaborate with UI/UX designers to integrate visually appealing components while ensuring everything is optimized for high performance and seamless rendering.
- You will maintain code quality by creating reusable components, conducting thorough debugging, and ensuring our applications remain secure and compatible across all browsers and devices.
Who you are
You are a seasoned software engineer with at least 5 years of experience and a strong desire to solve complex technical challenges. You communicate effectively in English and thrive in a collaborative environment. Your background includes:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Deep proficiency in jQuery, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and build tools such as Webpack and Babel.
- A solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and a proven ability to write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
