The role

We are looking for a senior-level Associate Team Lead to join our growing Data Engineering team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a leadership position where you will guide a small group of two to four engineers. You will be instrumental in building the data foundations that support our company-wide growth, working within a distributed team that spans over 10 countries.

Core responsibilities

• Provide mentorship, regular feedback, and coaching to a team of two to four data engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with data leadership and various stakeholders to define priorities and deliver impactful data products that solve real business problems.
• Actively contribute to engineering solutions through both direct development work and by providing technical guidance to your team.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in data engineering and a passion for leadership. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Extensive experience with modern data platform tools, including SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing (such as Snowflake), and dbt.
• Proven experience as an engineer within a data-focused team, including a solid grasp of development principles and best practices.
• Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
• A demonstrated ability to inspire others, instill confidence, and navigate team dynamics through effective coaching.
• Comfort working in an independent, self-guided environment where you can handle ambiguity with ease.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Compensation and benefits

The base salary range for this position is $46,000 to $106,000. Your actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as your location, experience, and specific skills. In addition to salary, we offer a comprehensive package designed to support your life and work:
