We are currently looking for an Associate SQA Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or early-career professional to grow alongside a fast-paced team while contributing to the testing of our ELD systems and integrated software features.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans, maintain detailed documentation, and execute testing across a variety of browsers, platforms, and devices.
- Take full ownership of end-to-end testing and all quality assurance artifacts to ensure high-quality weekly releases.
- Identify, document, and analyze defects or inconsistencies in our web and mobile applications, while actively investigating customer-reported issues to drive process improvements.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in computer science and a collaborative spirit. To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Up to two years of experience in software testing, with a strong preference for candidates who have exposure to both manual and automation testing.
- Solid coding skills and a keen interest in programming languages and code reviews.
- Proficiency in debugging and experience with tools like POSTMAN for REST API testing.
- A working knowledge of Agile methodologies, SCRUM, and issue-tracking tools such as JIRA.
- The ability to understand technical specifications and create effective positive, negative, and boundary-value test cases.
- A foundational understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
