What you bring
As a Senior Associate Software Engineer working in a Full Time capacity, you will play a vital role in our engineering and research efforts. You will be expected to work independently while knowing exactly when to collaborate with your peers to ensure our projects succeed. This role is remote and open to candidates located anywhere. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Applying technical concepts to implement meaningful changes within our embedded Linux systems.
- Developing robust programs using languages such as Node.js or Python.
- Writing effective code in modern C++ while utilizing advanced features like memory management and generics.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong grasp of the Linux command line and experience with Git for version control. We are looking for someone who understands networking and serial communication technologies, such as Ethernet, TCP, HTTP, or SPI. You should be comfortable working within specifications and identifying testable aspects of your development work. We value candidates who possess high-quality communication skills and are not afraid to use hands-on electronics tools like oscilloscopes or soldering irons. A high level of proficiency in English is required to ensure clear collaboration across our distributed team.
