The role
We are looking for a junior-level Associate Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, that requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to work within the continental United States. As an early-career engineer, you will work alongside senior team members to contribute to our infrastructure while growing your technical expertise in a collaborative, high-impact environment.
Core responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain foundational software components.
- Apply agile methodologies to support the software development life cycle and project management goals.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to master our tech stack and contribute to complex application development.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have at least one year of hands-on experience with C, C++, Java, JavaScript, and Python. We require a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or a related STEM field. You must also have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance, a SAFe for Teams certification, and a Security+ certification within your first 90 days. We highly value candidates with exposure to database concepts or SQL.
Compensation and benefits
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $110,000, with final compensation determined by your specific experience and demonstrated skills. We support our team with a comprehensive benefits package, including:
