We are Accurate Background, a trusted provider of employment background screening and workforce monitoring services that helps companies of all sizes make smarter, unbiased hiring decisions. As an Associate Software Engineer on our team, you will contribute across every stage of the software development lifecycle to build and scale our customer-centric background check platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain service-oriented architecture platforms from start to finish.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
- Validate requirements and support build and deployment activities.
- Perform integration and unit testing.
- Provide application support and troubleshooting across environments.
Must-haves
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education.
- At least one year of system development experience with .NET and C#.
- Hands-on work with .NET Core Framework, RESTful Web Services, JSON, XML, and XSL.
- Experience using SQL Server and MySQL.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular SPA Framework, and NodeJS.
- Familiarity with modern web application technologies and frameworks.
- Experience with code build and deploy tools such as Jenkins or AWS CodeBuild.
- Understanding of Agile or Scrum development processes and software release procedures.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
