Associate Site Reliability Engineer at Ivanti

We are looking for a senior-level Associate Site Reliability Engineer to join our growing team and help us elevate the reliability and performance of Ivanti Cloud services. Ivanti is dedicated to managing, protecting, and automating IT environments, and you will play a vital role in evolving our platform through advanced observability, release automation, and chaos engineering.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our Product Engineering, Security, and Support teams to maintain and deploy cloud services.
• Solve operational challenges by applying software engineering principles and automation.
• Perform deep technical investigations into databases, load balancers, application servers, and network infrastructure.
• Participate in a 24x7 production on-call rotation to ensure continuous service availability.
• Work a U.S. swing shift schedule, beginning at 2 PM Pacific time.

Must-haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows deployment and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing network infrastructure and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker container orchestration.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or advanced Shell scripting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to work remotely from within the U.S. to meet FedRAMP requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, or Kafka.
• Knowledge of configuration management and CI/CD tools like Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, or Chef.
• Experience with monitoring and logging stacks, including Splunk, Elastic Search, New Relic, or InfluxDB.
• Understanding of security frameworks such as SOC 2, FedRAMP, or ISO 27001.
• Ability to configure web applications and load balancers like Nginx, HAProxy, or Apache.
