As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Associate Scientist I to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will be a vital part of our cell and gene therapy pipeline, helping to develop next-generation programs and implementing innovative new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project leads to support cell and gene therapy pipeline initiatives, specifically focusing on gene editing and the creation of new molecular workflows.
- Design, initiate, and optimize complex molecular, cell-based, and analytical methods to support our research, technical operations, and pharmacology teams.
- Identify and evaluate emerging gene editing technologies while maintaining rigorous documentation for project reviews, patent applications, and regulatory reports.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should possess a strong background in molecular biology, bioengineering, or immunology. We require a Bachelor’s degree, though a Master’s degree is preferred. You must have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in cell and gene therapy, with a deep understanding of gene editing technologies such as CRISPR, base editing, or prime editing. Additionally, you should be proficient in molecular characterization, including NGS, and have extensive experience with cell culture methodologies for HSCs, iPSCs, or CAR-T cells. Strong technical skills in flow cytometry, cloning, and assay development are essential for this role.
What we offer
