At Kwanso, we believe that great technology is built by people who are as passionate about collaboration as they are about innovation. Since our founding in Lahore in 2014, with a later expansion to the Bay Area, we have dedicated ourselves to becoming experts in modern open-source stacks for web and mobile. We have had the privilege of partnering with major brands like Whirlpool, Sears, UFC, and PBS Kids, helping them bring their visions to life through custom design and development. If you are looking to work alongside brilliant engineers and designers in a fast-paced environment, you will find your home here with us.
The opportunity
We are looking for an Associate Project Manager to join our team in Pakistan on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will be the heartbeat of our project lifecycle, guiding initiatives from their initial concept all the way through to successful implementation. You will act as a bridge between our technical teams and our clients, ensuring that our strategy is executed with precision. By managing project plans, financials, and functional requirements, you will help us maintain the high standard of excellence that our partners expect.
A day in the life
- You will own the creation and maintenance of comprehensive project plans, ensuring that timelines, milestones, and resource requirements are clearly defined and tracked.
- You will facilitate our Agile processes by coordinating sprints, leading daily stand-ups, and running retrospective meetings to keep our teams aligned and productive.
- You will serve as a key communicator for stakeholders, identifying potential risks early, developing mitigation strategies, and documenting progress to ensure every project stays within scope and on schedule.
Who you are
You are a motivated professional with up to three years of experience delivering technology projects. You possess a growth mindset and thrive when faced with new challenges. To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Electrical Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Jira or similar project management tools.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, allowing you to conduct client demos and gather feedback effectively.
- A keen eye for detail, helping you distinguish between client feedback and scope creep to keep our development efforts focused.
Why you'll love it here
We are committed to supporting your professional and personal growth. When you join Kwanso, you gain access to a variety of benefits designed to help you thrive:
- Annual performance-based pay raises and quarterly bonuses after your first year.
- Comprehensive health insurance, plus Provident Fund and EOBI contributions for your future.
- 20 days of annual leave in addition to gazetted holidays.
- Flexible work hours to help you recharge when you need it.
