Are you ready to help shape the future of in-store discovery for leading brands and retailers? At Freeosk, we turn everyday product moments into measurable business outcomes, and we are looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our growing team.
What you bring
We are a distributed company headquartered in Chicago that operates a marketing technology platform combining physical product trials with digital media and identity-based measurement. In this full-time remote role, you will support cross-functional product initiatives by gathering inputs, translating insights into clear requirements, and coordinating execution across Product, Technology, and business stakeholders. You will work with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Sheets while applying Agile and Scrum practices in a retail-focused environment. Three main responsibilities include supporting product discovery through stakeholder and user inputs, turning initiatives into development-ready requirements and user stories, and monitoring progress, dependencies, and risks to keep delivery on track. This position is open to candidates located anywhere within the continental United States, with occasional travel to our Chicago office.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with one to three years of experience in product management, business analysis, product operations, project coordination, or a related field, along with exposure to cross-functional projects from planning through delivery. You should bring strong analytical and documentation skills, comfort working with data and metrics, and the ability to create clear requirements, process maps, and presentations. Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Sheets is essential, and familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is expected. A bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, marketing, engineering, computer science, communications, or a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent practical experience will be considered. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to grow from supporting product work into owning initiatives over time, with excellent communication skills in English.
What we offer
The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include a 401(k) match program, medical, dental, and vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, paid time off, a work-from-home stipend, volunteer opportunities, summer hours, parental leave, tuition reimbursement, a sabbatical program, professional development support, a wellness stipend, and social events.
How to Apply
If this opportunity sounds like the right fit, we encourage you to apply and take the next step toward joining our team at Freeosk. We look forward to learning more about how your skills and experience can contribute to our mission.
