We’re on a mission to rewrite the rules of finance. At Grid, we build products that give everyday people the same financial tools once reserved for the wealthy-cash access, credit building, smarter spending, and tax optimization all in one app. Our fast-growing team in San Francisco is looking for sharp, curious builders who want to shape how millions of users manage their money.
Role at a glance
We’re hiring an Associate Product Manager to join the Money product team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This mid-level role blends product thinking with deep data work, giving you direct influence over how our financial tools perform for real customers every day.
Your impact
- Partner with the senior product manager to track and evaluate the metrics that matter most to the business, turning raw numbers into clear next steps.
- Dive into usage trends and customer behavior, then translate those findings into product improvements and always-on dashboards that keep teams aligned.
- Design monitoring systems and alerts that surface performance issues early, helping engineering and operations deliver a smoother, more secure experience.
What you'll need
Strong command of SQL (especially BigQuery) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential. You should be comfortable working with large datasets, building performance dashboards in Looker or Datadog, and reading code when needed. Familiarity with banking concepts like customer onboarding, KYC, and payment processing will help you move fast. We’re looking for someone with exceptional attention to detail, a natural curiosity for solving analytical problems, and a genuine interest in Grid’s mission. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, statistics, math, economics, or a similarly quantitative field is preferred. Fluency in English is required.
Perks and compensation
We offer high autonomy and real ownership from day one. You’ll work alongside product, engineering, operations, and risk teams in a collaborative environment that values curiosity, continuous learning, and growth. Our San Francisco office is the hub for this role, and you’ll have the chance to set new standards for how data informs product decisions at Grid.
