Bosta is a fast-growing tech startup on a mission to transform logistics and financing for e-commerce across the Middle East and Africa. We provide end-to-end solutions that help entrepreneurs who sell via social media streamline their digital trade, logistics, and financing, and we are looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our team in Egypt on a full-time, hybrid basis.
Responsibilities
- Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape to inform our product strategy.
- Identify core business objectives and customer pain points to shape our roadmap.
- Prioritize product features by balancing potential impact against development costs.
- Conduct field research and user interviews to gain firsthand insights into customer needs.
- Draft detailed EPICs and user stories that clearly define goals, solutions, and success metrics.
- Partner with product designers to innovate and validate prototypes before development begins.
- Work closely with engineering teams to translate complex problems into executable technical plans.
- Manage sprint deliverables and track performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Align product strategy with feedback from internal stakeholders, including finance and customer care teams.
- Lead and inspire your team to maintain a focus on the bigger picture and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Must-haves
- At least 1 year of experience building technology-powered products.
- Strong understanding of modern product discovery and delivery methodologies.
- Proven experience in user research and user-centric development.
- Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to listen with empathy.
- A proactive, autonomous, and results-oriented mindset.
- A relentless drive to solve problems at their source and a hunger for continuous learning.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis.
- Experience building Excel models and developing dashboards.
- Practical experience running A/B and multivariate tests to guide decision-making.
