At Hearsay Systems we build the leading digital client engagement platform for financial services, trusted by firms such as BlackRock, Charles Schwab, and New York Life. Our technology helps more than 260,000 advisors and agents deliver compliant, personalized outreach across social media, websites, text, and voice. In June 2024 we announced our acquisition by Yext, combining our engagement tools with Yext’s digital presence platform to give brands a single solution for every customer touchpoint. We are a globally distributed team that values collaboration, product excellence, and the impact our work has on the advisors and clients we serve.
The role
We are hiring an Associate Product Manager to join our product organization on a full-time, hybrid basis in Hungary. This is a junior-level position designed for someone with one to two years of product management or emerging product-owner experience who is ready to take on meaningful ownership within a fast-moving SaaS environment.
Core responsibilities
- Partner with senior product managers to shape product priorities and roadmaps for Hearsay Social, translating market needs into clear requirements that move from idea through launch.
- Work inside cross-functional scrum teams alongside engineering and design, using product-lifecycle practices to organize work, run Agile ceremonies, and keep sprints on track.
- Own the success metrics for Hearsay Social features, monitor usage and impact, and support the creation of documentation and training that helps internal teams and customers adopt new capabilities.
Skills and experience
We are looking for candidates who are building strong product-management capabilities and already demonstrate the following:
- One to two years of experience in a product-management or emerging product-owner role.
- Familiarity with product-lifecycle management, Agile frameworks, and Design Thinking approaches.
- Hands-on practice turning feature requests into roadmaps, grooming backlogs, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
- Comfort working in a “three-in-the-box” model with engineering and design teammates, plus the ability to coordinate with go-to-market stakeholders.
- Experience participating in customer discovery sessions and a genuine focus on delivering measurable value to both users and the business.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
English fluency is required. Experience with social-media or customer-engagement platforms, Lean Product Development, or bringing commercial SaaS products to market is considered a plus.
Compensation and benefits
We offer a hybrid work arrangement that supports both focused individual work and in-person collaboration with local teammates.
