Are you ready to shape the future of classroom learning and help every student succeed? At Newsela, we build digital tools that bring meaningful educational content into classrooms across the country, and we are looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our growing team.
What you bring
We are hiring a full-time Associate Product Manager with junior-level experience to work remotely from anywhere. In this role you will contribute to product strategy, roadmap planning, and cross-functional collaboration while using your technical background and data analysis skills to guide decisions and measure impact. Your main responsibilities will be to identify opportunities that improve the Newsela experience, define and deliver on both short- and long-term product goals, and hold cross-functional teams accountable for timely, on-scope delivery. This position is open to candidates located anywhere.
Requirements
You bring at least one year of experience in a product management role where you have scaled new or existing products. You combine a strong technical background with the ability to translate complex topics into clear solutions, and you are comfortable with product strategy, roadmap planning, and execution. You enjoy working with data to create metrics, set goals alongside a data team, and adjust priorities accordingly. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, ownership of decision-making, and the ability to partner with research and design teams to understand customer needs round out your profile. Proficiency in English is required, and an ideal candidate is proactive, data-driven, and excited to work with a highly technical team on foundational systems that support Newsela’s mission.
What we offer
The base compensation range for this position is $82,000 to $89,000, and total compensation also includes equity. We support remote work so you can contribute from anywhere, and we provide equity compensation as part of our overall rewards package.
