At Vimeo, we empower creators and businesses to unlock the full potential of video. Our industry-leading platform helps millions of users create, manage, and share compelling stories that reach billions of views each month. We believe that great video is only the beginning-understanding how content performs and resonates with audiences is essential. That is why we are building powerful analytics tools that turn raw data into clear, actionable insights for our customers.
The role
We are hiring an Associate Product Manager to join our Video Analytics team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a junior-level position suited for someone with 1–2 years of product experience who is eager to grow in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and designers to shape tools that help users make smarter, data-driven decisions about their video strategies.
Core responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and refine video analytics features that address real customer needs and deliver measurable business impact.
- Translate user feedback and business goals into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that guide product development.
- Define success metrics and KPIs for new features, then use data to evaluate performance and inform future improvements.
Skills and experience
We are looking for candidates who bring a strong interest in video, data, and user engagement. You should have 1–2 years of experience in product management or a related field, ideally within video, analytics, or customer-focused products. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues. You should be comfortable working in ambiguous situations, quick to learn new concepts, and able to take ownership of tasks in a dynamic setting. Familiarity with Agile practices and cross-functional teamwork is a plus, as is any prior exposure to video analytics tools, data visualization, or user behavior tracking.
Compensation and benefits
For this role, the base salary range is $90,900–$125,550 for most U.S. locations and $101,000–$135,500 for the NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, and Los Angeles areas. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a 401k match, commuter benefits, paid time off, life insurance, remote work flexibility, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, fertility reimbursement, and access to wellbeing resources.
How to apply
If you are a detail-oriented self-starter who is excited to help customers turn video data into meaningful insights, we encourage you to apply. We look forward to learning how your skills and perspective can contribute to Vimeo’s mission of transforming how the world creates and understands video.
