About the Role

About Plutus - Plutus is a strategic partnership between Zeta and HDFC bank with the mission to build a digital bank completely from scratch. Plutus will serve the bank’s 25 mn+ consumers and drive growth to double the base to 50 Mn+ in the next 5 years. To achieve this, we’ve reimagined banking completely from the ground up.

About the Team

The Plutus core team is powering:

-A cutting-age payment app enabling merchant transactions with digital payment instruments allows customers to pay using methods like mobile wallets, cards, UPI and contactless payments (NFC).

-A series of digital first, modem Credit Products targeted initially towards digital savvy & Millennial audiences which we believe shall change the landscape of Credit Products in India.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for user and merchant experience on PayZapp Shop.

Own payment and refund success rate key performance metrics (KPIs). Analyze data to identify opportunities for improving transaction efficiency and success rates.

Define product goals and roadmaps in alignment with business objectives and market needs.

Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

Collaborate with engineering, design, and operations teams to develop and launch new features and enhancements.

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, engineering, design, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the product life cycle.

Implement strategies to reduce transaction failures and enhance payment gateway performance.

Skills

Strong problem-solving skills for identifying and addressing challenges in the product. Should be able to think creatively, analytically, and strategically to overcome obstacles and find solutions.

Excellent analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.

High on ownership & teamwork and enjoys hustling

Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Written code in your past life or should be able to understand engineering complexities very well.

Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).

Education and Qualifications

2+ yrs of total experience in a product role

BE/BTech from any reputed engineering institutions, computer science engineering would be preferred.

Any management degree from a Tier 1/2 institute would be a plus.
