Associate Product Designer at Vestwell

We are looking for a mid-level Associate Product Designer to join our growing team and help us shape the future of this industry.

What you'll be doing

• You will lead the design process through root cause investigation, research synthesis, and brainstorming to create effective product solutions.
• You will collaborate closely with senior team members, product managers, and engineers to balance business objectives with user needs.
• You will manage high-fidelity wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing while contributing to the evolution of our design systems.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should have 3 to 5 years of professional experience designing digital products for both mobile and web platforms. We are looking for someone who demonstrates the following:

• A strong command of Figma and a portfolio that showcases a deep understanding of design principles.
• Experience with responsive web design and mobile application layouts.
• Proficiency in research methods, including user interviews, surveys, and data analysis.
• The ability to maintain component libraries and design systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting your work to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Fluency in English.
• Bonus points if you have familiarity with HTML and CSS, experience with ADA or WCAG compliance, or a background working in fast-paced environments.

What you'll get

We offer a competitive salary range based on your location: $90,000 to $110,000 for New York, $85,500 to $104,500 for Austin, and $81,000 to $99,000 for Phoenix. In addition to your compensation, you will enjoy the following benefits:
