What is this role?
We are looking for a passionate Associate Principal Analytics Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time, lead-level position based on-site at our headquarters in Downtown Manhattan. If you have a strong background in software development and a genuine love for both gaming and big data, we would love to meet you.
What will you do?
- Partner with data scientists and business stakeholders to translate complex analytical needs into robust data infrastructure and workflows.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines while monitoring performance to ensure our systems remain reliable and efficient.
- Collaborate with our data integrity team to establish a quality framework that ensures our production data consistently meets service level agreements for key stakeholders.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 6 years of experience in analytics or data engineering. You should be comfortable working in a technical environment and possess the following skills:
- Technical Proficiency: You have at least 6 years of hands-on experience with Python and advanced SQL, along with 3 years of experience using PySpark.
- Cloud and Tooling: You are experienced in Azure and Databricks environments, and you have worked with pipeline scheduling tools like Airflow and Astronomer.
- Infrastructure and CI/CD: You are familiar with modern deployment practices using Terraform, GitHub, and TeamCity.
- Communication: You have a proven ability to bridge the gap between technical requirements and business objectives, and you are eager to contribute to best practices regarding documentation, testing, and code standards.
What's in it for you?
The expected base pay range for this position in New York is $132,000 to $171,000 USD per year. Please note that actual offers are determined by individual factors such as your specific skills, experience, and market location.
