About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Platform Engineer to join our Data Reliability team. This is a full-time, mid-level position focused on the data services that underpin our cloud architecture. You will work alongside talented engineers to develop the automation, tooling, and platforms that ensure our services remain reliable and performant for both internal developers and our global customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes Operators to ensure the stability and scalability of our infrastructure.
- Manage and operate enterprise-scale data services, including Kafka, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Redis, and CouchBase.
- Enhance our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to streamline the full lifecycle of our production environments, from security and monitoring to cost optimization.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should bring a strong technical foundation and a passion for solving complex distributed systems challenges. We look for the following qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go or Python.
- Hands-on experience with container technologies and orchestration, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
- Practical knowledge of cloud providers, preferably AWS or GCP, and experience with monitoring stacks like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Crossplane.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate and prevent production issues.
- Certifications in Kubernetes, Cloud, or Hashicorp technologies are considered a plus.

This position is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere.
