What is this role?
We are seeking an Associate Piping Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a junior-level position perfect for an early-career engineer looking to grow within a supportive, collaborative environment. You will work in a hybrid capacity, contributing to our mission of providing personalized, high-quality engineering solutions across the United States.
What will you do?
- Support our discipline leads by preparing detailed drawings, sketches, and construction documents while learning to interpret complex engineering specifications.
- Review design documents to ensure they meet our high standards for quality and assist in verifying field conditions and constructability to resolve construction-related challenges.
- Develop your technical expertise by becoming familiar with industry piping codes, P&ID symbology, and the specific workflows of our Piping and Stress departments.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or General Engineering, along with up to three years of relevant experience. You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following:
- Technical Proficiency: A working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, paired with a solid grasp of piping and stress engineering fundamentals.
- Communication and Collaboration: You are personable, capable of building professional relationships, and comfortable seeking guidance from mentors when needed.
- Organizational Skills: You have a strong sense of quality and detail, the ability to manage your time effectively across multiple projects, and the drive to meet strict deadlines.
