Associate Engineer at ManyPets

We are looking for a Mid-Level Associate Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis in the United Kingdom. Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud solutions that maintain high performance and reliability while supporting our company's growth.
• Champion platform observability and security by building resilient systems that protect sensitive data and allow for proactive monitoring.
• Improve the overall developer experience by promoting automation and creating self-service tools that reduce friction for our engineering teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in engineering and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Proven experience building database-driven web applications using serverless, event-driven architectures and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, specifically utilizing services such as AWS Lambda.
• A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle within an SRE capacity, with a focus on system scalability and performance.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles, including CI/CD tools and security review processes.
