Associate Director/Director, IT Development Business Partner and GxP Compliance Lead at Verve Therapeutics, Inc.

We are currently looking for an Associate Director or Director of IT Development Business Partner and GxP Compliance Lead to join our team in the United States on an on-site basis. Responsibilities

• Act as the main IT point of contact for our Quality, Regulatory, and Clinical teams to align technology strategies with business goals.
• Lead GxP compliance efforts by managing SOPs, training programs, and documentation to ensure we remain audit-ready and compliant with standards like 21 CFR Part 11.
• Oversee the selection, validation, and implementation of development systems while providing ongoing technical support.
• Manage project lifecycles by aligning requirements, timelines, and resource allocation with our broader company objectives.
• Mentor and lead your team, fostering an inclusive culture that emphasizes accountability, professional growth, and high performance.
• Collaborate with senior management and external stakeholders to influence decision-making and drive organizational success.

Must-haves

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• At least 9 years of experience in business partner roles, ideally within a GxP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotech setting.
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks applicable to clinical-stage biotechnology organizations.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage complex projects and solve abstract problems.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of influencing stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and maintain financial accountability.
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate ambiguous situations with structure and clarity.
• Fluency in English.
