Associate Director Technology Systems at Ml4t

Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) is a national nonprofit dedicated to closing racial wealth gaps by empowering Black, Latine, and Native American talent to thrive in their careers. We are seeking an Associate Director of Technology Systems to join our internal technology group in Bethesda, Maryland, where you will play a vital role in supporting our cloud-first strategy and scaling our operations during a period of significant growth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Senior Director of Technology and Applications to ensure our technology roadmap is executed effectively.
• Oversee development resources, including offshore contractors and interns, while managing project timelines, quality, and budgets.
• Partner with Business Analysts to prioritize incoming project requests based on evolving organizational needs.
• Implement and lead Agile project management methodologies, including facilitating regular stand-up meetings.
• Establish and manage a formal change management process for all software development initiatives.
• Assess legacy platforms, implement new solutions, and manage key vendor and partner relationships.

Must-haves

• A minimum of five years of experience supporting SaaS platforms.
• A Bachelor’s degree.
• Local residency in the Bethesda, MD area, with the ability to commute to our office two days per week.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated success in building relationships with diverse, geographically dispersed internal customers.
• Experience with Agile methodology, with a preference for candidates holding a Scrum Master certification.
• A strong desire to solve complex business problems through the application of emerging technologies.
