About the Role
We are searching for an Associate Director, Mobile Software Engineering to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a high-impact leadership position where you will oversee our Mobile Application Shared Services group. You will be responsible for defining the technical vision and roadmap for our mobile products, ensuring that our iOS and Android applications continue to provide a seamless experience for millions of pet parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop high-performing agile teams by fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Define the technical strategy and architectural direction for our mobile platforms to ensure they remain scalable and high-performing.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams to execute an ambitious roadmap that aligns with our broader company goals.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in software engineering, including 5 years of experience leading mobile engineering teams.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering management.
- Deep expertise in native mobile development using Swift and Kotlin.
- Strong knowledge of mobile architecture, API integration, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience managing mobile CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management.
- A Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
