The role
We are seeking an Associate Director, IT Enterprise Applications to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a leadership-level position that reports directly to our VP of IT. You will serve as a key techno-functional authority, guiding the design, selection, and integration of our SaaS-based ecosystem. While we have a preference for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area, this role is open to remote applicants and operates in a hybrid environment with occasional travel required for conferences and meetings.
Core responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders across HR, Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Patient Advocacy to prioritize, scope, and deliver system investments that align with our strategic goals.
- Lead the technical delivery of IT solutions, ensuring they meet our standards for scalability, performance, and security while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Evolve our three-year IT roadmap and manage the department budget, ensuring all technology deployments and upgrades are executed on time and within financial constraints.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in technology and business strategy. We require the following qualifications:
- At least 8 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Broad IT management expertise, specifically within the Life Sciences sector.
- Proficiency in SDLC methodologies, SOX controls, and Project Management.
- Technical familiarity with Veeva Vault, Salesforce, Box, SharePoint, and Google Cloud.
- The ability to bridge the gap between complex technical concepts and business requirements.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to foster consensus in a matrixed environment.
Compensation and benefits
The salary range for this position is $180,000 to $200,000. We determine base compensation based on a variety of factors, meaning actual pay may vary. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
