What you'll be doing
- You will act as a Subject Matter Expert for our SIEM platform, specifically Splunk, where you will handle the configuration, administration, and ongoing management of the system.
- You will provide 24/7 security monitoring and threat analysis, ensuring that event filtering, investigation, and escalation processes are followed accurately to protect our infrastructure.
- You will support our broader security posture by assisting with vulnerability assessments, conducting forensic investigations, and drafting standard operating procedures to improve our overall security operations.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in information security and a commitment to our mission. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of industry experience and a Bachelor’s degree.
- Deep technical knowledge of SIEM administration, security monitoring, and incident response.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, and Unix operating systems, as well as networking fundamentals like firewalls, routers, and VPNs.
- Experience working with compliance standards such as HIPAA, PCI, NIST, and MITRE ATT&CK.
- The ability to work independently, make critical decisions during security incidents, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English.
