Role at a glance
We are seeking an Associate Director of Hosting Operations to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This is a lead-level position reporting to our Senior Director of Hosting Operations. You will oversee our client-facing systems and applications, managing both our cloud operations and on-premise IT infrastructure teams to ensure our technology remains secure, reliable, and compliant with industry standards.
Your impact
- Provide technical leadership for our systems engineering and operations teams, ensuring all infrastructure and applications meet our high standards for quality and security.
- Manage the full lifecycle of our on-premise infrastructure and Azure cloud environments, including the development of infrastructure as code and deployment pipelines.
- Recruit, mentor, and coach a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and consistent productivity.
What you'll need
We are looking for a candidate who brings a wealth of experience and a passion for operational excellence. You should be fluent in English and possess the following qualifications:
- At least 8 to 10 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure development, Site Reliability Engineering, or DevOps.
- Deep expertise in managing cloud environments, SDLC orchestration, and automation tooling.
- A strong understanding of GxP standards and their application to clinical study systems.
- Proven ability to manage vendors, negotiate agreements, and keep complex development projects on track.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to participate in 24x7 on-call production support as needed.
