We are looking for an Associate Director Global IT Business Partner to join our team in either Princeton, NJ, or San Diego, CA. At Acadia Pharmaceuticals, we are dedicated to advancing neuroscience breakthroughs to improve lives, having successfully commercialized treatments for Parkinson’s disease psychosis and Rett syndrome.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary IT contact for your assigned business domain, leading the planning and communication of operational plans.
- Partner with business leaders to define requirements and identify technology solutions that align with our strategic goals.
- Manage IT project lifecycles, including intake assessments and reporting, while ensuring adherence to governance processes.
- Oversee operational systems, including vendor management, change controls, system patches, and issue resolution.
- Facilitate RFP initiatives and manage software licensing, renewals, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure all business solutions remain compliant with security mandates, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and computer systems validation activities.
Must-haves
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related technical field.
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industries.
- Proven success in partnering with management to develop and implement technology strategies.
- Strong expertise in SDLC, SaaS deployment models, and operational systems support.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and organize resources effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in IT governance, vendor management, and data analytics.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Professional PMP certification.
- Experience working in a regulated environment, particularly with GxP processes.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $139,200 to $174,000 USD. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for discretionary bonuses and equity awards.
- Hybrid work model, requiring an average of three days per week in the office.
