Role at a glance
We are seeking an Associate Director, Commercial & Medical Applications to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity based in the United States. This is an executive-level position that serves as a mission-critical bridge between our IT infrastructure and our commercial and medical business groups, including marketing, patient services, and field sales.
Your impact
- Lead the successful implementation and ongoing support of our commercial and medical systems, ensuring they remain robust and scalable.
- Act as the primary conduit between business stakeholders and IT service teams to translate complex needs into clear operational requirements.
- Oversee vendor relationships and manage IT projects while enforcing best practices and governance standards across all technical deliverables.
What you'll need
- At least 10 years of experience in IT with a track record of increasing responsibility.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SaaS platforms, specifically Salesforce.com or Veeva products.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with marketing automation tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage diverse project deliverables simultaneously.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred, as is experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards such as FDA, GDPR, SOX, or HIPAA is considered a significant asset.
