Metagenomi is a pioneering gene editing company dedicated to developing potentially curative therapeutics. We utilize a proprietary toolbox of next-generation gene editing systems to accurately modify DNA where existing technologies fall short. By leveraging our metagenomics-powered discovery platform, we uncover novel cellular machinery from unknown organisms and transform them into efficient, highly specific, and ultra-small gene editing tools. We are currently looking for an Associate Director, Business Applications to join our team on a full-time basis at our headquarters in Emeryville, California. In this executive-level role, you will provide strategic oversight and hands-on technical management for our G&A application portfolio, ensuring our systems effectively support our mission to revolutionize medicine.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of our G&A application portfolio, which includes systems for Finance, HR, and Legal, to ensure they remain aligned with our evolving business objectives.
- Serve as the primary technical expert by providing hands-on implementation, maintenance, and support for key business platforms, specifically NetSuite and Coupa.
- Collaborate with G&A teams and leadership to translate complex business requirements into robust system solutions, while driving process improvements and maintaining compliance with SOX IT general controls.
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is required, and an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least eight years of professional experience in the IT industry, with a proven track record of implementing processes and solutions for G&A functions.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in managing NetSuite and Coupa, alongside strong project management skills and the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
What we offer
The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $185,000 to $230,000. We are proud to offer a comprehensive rewards package that includes:
