We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of IT to oversee the end-to-end management of our G&A application portfolio, including applications related to Finance, Legal, and HR. This role requires a blend of strategic oversight, technical expertise, and hands-on implementation experience to support Metagenomi’s growth and ensure alignment with our company goals and regulatory requirements. This position is located at our Emeryville, California headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Portfolio Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of our G&A application portfolio, ensuring seamless operation and alignment with business objectives.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as the technical expert, providing hands-on implementation and support for our business applications, including NetSuite and Coupa.
- Business Process Translation: Understand business processes and requirements, translating them into system solutions that align with the company’s goals and regulatory requirements.
- System Implementation and Maintenance: Facilitate the successful execution of system implementations, upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
- Documentation and Training: Create and maintain relevant documentation, including system architecture, workflows, user guides, and training materials.
- Process Improvement: Drive improvements and efficiencies in business processes through the effective use of technology.
- Collaboration and Planning: Partner with G&A teams and the Head of IT to assess business capabilities, develop solution roadmaps, and create project plans to support Metagenomi’s growth.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least eight years of demonstrated IT industry experience implementing processes and solutions for G&A functions.
- Strong technical aptitude and hands-on approach to problem-solving, with mandatory experience managing NetSuite and Coupa applications.
- Familiarity with SOX IT General Controls.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
California Pay Transparency Disclosure:
This position is classified as an exempt salaried position under the Federal Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $185,000 to $230,000. In addition to the base salary, you will be eligible to receive equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits. Please note that individual total compensation for this position will be determined at the Company’s sole discretion and may vary based on location, skill level, years and depth of relevant experience, and education. All compensation and benefits are provided in compliance with federal and state laws, including the California Equal Pay Act.
