Associate DevOps Engineer at Ontic

We are currently looking for a new team member to join our global group and help us protect our clients through robust, secure cloud operations.

What is this role?

We are seeking a mid-level Associate DevOps Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. This is an on-site position based in the United States. Please note that due to the nature of our work with government clients, only U.S. citizens are eligible to apply for this role. You will play a key part in our cloud migration projects, specifically moving critical services to AWS GovCloud while collaborating with our international team.

What will you do?

• Manage the deployment of infrastructure across cloud platforms, with a primary focus on AWS.
• Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot servers to ensure high performance and maintain application service level agreements.
• Integrate container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes while automating workflows using Python or BASH.

What makes you a great fit?

We are looking for someone with 2 to 3 years of experience in the DevOps space who is comfortable working in an English-speaking environment. You should have a solid foundation in the following areas:

• Hands-on experience with AWS and Linux server administration.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• A strong grasp of networking concepts and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Mongo, Elasticsearch, or Kafka is considered a bonus.
