We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join our Data Strategy team in the United States, where you will play a vital role in supporting our Investran accounting platform and our core data systems.
What you'll be doing
- You will manage, monitor, and tune our database environments, ensuring optimal performance across both on-premises and Azure SQL platforms.
- You will serve as the operations lead for our data systems, which includes overseeing scheduled jobs, managing backups and restores from development through production, and providing Level 2 support for analytics applications.
- You will drive efficiency by automating routine tasks using PowerShell and identifying opportunities to improve our data operations, while also managing system permissions and supporting user onboarding for our financial and data platforms.
What you'll bring
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or possess equivalent professional experience.
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator, with deep expertise in SQL Server and the Microsoft stack within cloud environments.
- You bring at least 2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
- You are familiar with cloud data platforms like Databricks and have experience with ETL operations.
- You have a working knowledge of business intelligence and reporting tools, specifically PowerBI.
- You are a strong communicator who can proactively solve problems, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- You possess a strong command of the English language.
What you'll get
