About the role
We are seeking a passionate data scientist to join our data product team. In this role, you will conduct analysis and use good data storytelling to inform our business operations and the care that we deliver to the patients. This work will directly contribute to making specialty medications affordable and accessible for patients. Applicants must be based in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with Product and Clinical Operations and use data to prioritize various business initiatives
- Have a nose for value and can grasp the problems of a non-technical stakeholder
- Establish clear and measurable success metrics, and write queries to measure the effectiveness of data-driven interventions
- Conduct analysis on pharmacy data to monitor program performance and uncover interesting trends and patterns
- Create clear and compelling visualizations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Have the opportunity to grow into a data scientist role and expand responsibilities into predictive modeling and setting up ETL data infrastructure in dbt
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary/wage. The actual base salary/wage will depend on several factors, including experience, knowledge, and skills. Actual compensation packages may include other elements equity, paid time off and benefits.
About you
- You have 3+ years of experience working in a data analytics, data science, data engineering, or a similar role
- You have strong SQL and data modeling skills (CTEs, window functions, optimization)
- You are proficient in at least one programming language, such as python
- You have experience with a major BI tool (e.g. Tableau, Power BI). We use Apache Superset internally
- You are an excellent communicator and can work with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization
